UPDATE! Thanks all for your responses - and they are pretty much my thoughts entirely so... I am moving. The stars have aligned and an INCREDIBLY rare space at the yard my mare is at has come up so we are off on 1st April. I trust the yard owner implicitly and my mare is SO happy there...

Yes most likely. Definitely think the invoice idea is good. She is fully aware that it is not me out of pocket it is my dad. Now I hate the idea of being in debt to people, let alone someone's parent! But that's just me.
