An update for anyone who is interested.... Had my usual vet out (lovely chap, i always wonder though that he's so young how can he possibly have enough experience... Q for another time perhaps).
He listened to my tale of woe and then watched the horse trot up in a straight line then onto the...
Thank you. Which particular aspects do you think indicate hind suspensories? I've not had suspensory issues before.
The fact the lameness came on acutely - does that lean towards suspensories too?
I'll try to keep this as short as I can, although, you know how it is with horses, there are a million and one thoughts swirling round in my head and I'm not sure who I can trust!!
My horse went suddenly "lame" in a lesson about a month ago whilst I was trotting on the left rein and working on...
My horse is missing half an ear due to a field accident. he wears ears so I don't have to explain to every person I meet out competing/training why he looks deformed :(
I've got one - bought it in Sept 15, I love it!! My experience with them was pretty good although I do have a couple of comments which I will PM you some more info about
I am need of ideas to keep a dressing on my horse's ear. I've ordered some of these: http://www.horze.co.uk/ear-plugs-hoods/ear-cover-neoprene/12720.html but they won't arrive for another week, and they seem to be the only product on the market that does what (I think) I need.

I don't think you're silly. I would want to have a look at the vet reports, have a 5 stage vetting + X rays, and a discount off the original price to reflect that you will presumably have an exclusion on the insurance for the leg that was kicked (unless you can get the insurance company to word...
I do - I much prefer it as have a clear head and a stressful job so sometimes find it hard to get away on time in the evenings
I get up at 5.30 - drive from West London to the yard 12 miles away in Surrey, ride, back in the car by 7.15 (horse on part livery so I arrive, yank him out the stable...
VERY slippery character. avoid like the plague to be honest. I feel that he completely ripped me off, luckily not to the tune of some others on here but I wish I had read this thread first!!!
Just bumping this thread as I would also like to know if anyone has any comments on these boxes. I saw one at Oldencraig last weekend and it looked v nice although I didnt have time to have a proper look.
The guy who I spoke to says the boxes are built by Chaigley in Lancs, any thoughts on...
The old style (I think it is before 07 plates?) Kia Sorento is really very good. I use mine to commute 25 miles each day I ride & to tow on the weekends and it's very comfortable, surprisingly nippy for its size and weight and an excellent towing vehicle, tows up to 3.5 ton (I think the newer...
