Personally, I wouldn't mix Brass and Stainless. A bit like the old saying Blue and Green should not be seen....! I go with trying to source a Silver one.

I am trying to source French Snaps, which are traditionally used in Hackeny Harness on Overcheck Reins. I have found some in the USA, but would like to know if anyone here has heard of them in the UK. Goodluck!

Make your own. If you've got a decent sewing machine (or a good hand stitch) you should be able to make them to fit snuggly. You get to choose your own colours too. Shouldn't be too hard to source some really nice sheep skins.

I'd just like to thank all those that help me locate the Funky Bridle. For those that were browsing it was by Dy'on. Although this one wasn't to everyones taste, they certainly do amazing and innovative work.

Isn't it weird! This same question is posted on Comp forum and the feedback has been amazing. Really positive on design and function. I guess we all just have different ideas on what we like and what we don't like.

Why is it that we pay a fortune for all things horsey? I am interested in purchasing the bridle. Shall we try to hook up and do a deal?

Why not try your local saddle. Might not be a cheap option, but at least you know they will be very well fitted.
