New Puppy - Pics attached :-)

Venevidivici sorry for the loss of your dog to cancer... They do break our hearts. Puppy (I'll call him that for now) is already noticeably different, and I suspect is going to be quite naughty :D He's also quite vocal when he wants things - food, attention etc, so I think they're going to...

New Puppy - Pics attached :-)

Funnily enough, Brian, Dexter & Bear have all been on the list... I shall report in when they've made their mind up. Thankfully when you walk anywhere he's hot on your heals and runs in / through your legs. He just soooooo cute & cuddly - when you cuddle him his tail goes like the clappers...

    Puppy or rescue dog?

Thanks BBH - He is rather cute :-) Regards rescues, Northwest Labrador Rescue are very good http://www.homealabrador.net/ I was going to re-home a lab through them, & was prepared to foster oldies, but events have overtaken me at present so my lab will remain an only child for now...

Yes - I like Dumble too, as do the rest of the family, and my mum, but my step dad doesn't so said no :-( I suspect the debate is going to rumble on :-D And yes, will post more pictures as he grows. He's going to be a big boy having met his half brother Clarence, who at 8 months is just...

Hen Experts - please help !

For Broody hens, as a previous poster said, we use a dog crate propped off the floor so its the wire bottom they stand on. They are kept alone in our feed room with corn and water. Usually takes 2-3 days to get rid of the broodiness. We call it the sin bin :)

    New puppy - reassurance needed!

Thanks for posting OP - my parents collected their new Bull Mastiff pup at 8 weeks of age yesterday. He's her 5th, and whilst very settled and chief yesterday, howled at bed time. Thud ignored him, but he started again at 2am so moved him to the bedroom (must to my shock as they've always had...

    EHV

A&C, the outbreak started in Gloucestershire. I knew little about EHV, but have taken the time to educate myself. It would be sensible if everyone could take a little time to read up on the subject, take precautions and monitor their horses/ponies - especially as there have been a few cases of...

DIY/Part Livery in Leeds - help please :)

Wikefield Farm run by Barbara Harrison-Bland has an indoor school, great hacking and room for your trailer. Not the cheapest, but a great location just on from The Leeds Grammar school roundabout. There is also a yard in the area, but don't know the name of it. The Harewood combined training...
