I want to have some schoolmaster dressage lessons and am wondering where to go for them. Narrowed it down to Claire Lilley or Talland - both close to me and seem to have a good reputation. I definitely want private lessons so cost wise both these options are more or less the same. I am...
Here's the appropriate rule from the BD rulebook - sounds like she should not have been allowed to complete 1st test if I've read it right:

Check the terms and conditions of your car policy - some say you are only insured if you own the trailer or have it under a hire agreement, some you must tell the company that you will be towing etc.
Aubiose deep littered is great. Quite dear to set up the bed at first, but after that you will only need to top up once a week, I managed on half a bale a week. Very quick to muck out as even the messy types (my mare similar to yours, poos everywhere) can't bury the poo!
When I had lessons prior to my trailer test my instructor said i could drive on the motorway but only with a qualified instructor - i.e. I could drive on there with him or the examiner but not anyone else. I don't know what the legal position is but I stuck to what he told me!

Paranoid maybe...but can someone check their copy of Novice 36 for me? Movement 7 says change the rein in medium walk. I kind of expected it to be free walk on a long rein... My version is the laminated dressage direct sheet with diagrams.
I have a Kia Sorento, for comparison on price I paid £10k for it at Xmas 3 yrs old with 24k on the clock. It's the top of the range model. Parkers or similar would be your best bet to check on prices. Great car and tows well.
Halfstep - thank you also as what you describe is what I do in each schooling session anyway so will have a practice tonight to get a feel for doing it in the test
