A lot of people in Ireland use a placename as the first element in their horse's name. If there were any nice placenames in your area you could put that in.
Mushy bananas are the best treat for my horses - the supermarkets usually sell them off cheap and I nab them. I also heard that in the Middle East they feed them figs and dates.

I've been in AIRC for years here in the south and have seen all ages/sexes/shapes and sizes. There is a very big over 50s contingent here (me and my mates included) and I have seen people riding and competing at riding club activities well into their 70s. My own club age range is 18 to 65...
Horse 1 passed on to me by a friend - I had told her when she got him if she ever was selling to put me first in the queue as he was my ideal horse. His friend came from a rescue centre so both sort of found me in a way. I couldn't have found two nicer horses had a gone to the ends of the earth.
I wasn't able to ignore my door kicker as the stables here are only a few yards from the house and he can wake the whole county in the middle of the night once he starts. If you prevent him from kicking the door he starts stamping on the floor.
I know its not a cure as such but my solution...
Ditto - I've set up an arrangement in the yard with electric tape outside the stables so they can noodle around there but had to take them out of the mud. A pond is forming in one corner and one of these days we're going to here ducks quacking on it.

I swear by Muckboots and I got a present of posh Toggi socks last year - feet stay toasty in all weathers. I bought a pair of Brasher hiking boots two years ago and wear them for dog walking etc (too good to wear on muddy yard).
