Is any one a member of this club? My daughter is 14 and has never been a member of any pony club so would like some advice on what goes on at a pony club. We don't have our own transport so was also wondering how many times a month she would need to attend? Many thanks in advance x
I looked into this phoned an insurance broker and insurance for the year would be between £2500 and £3000 a year, not viable for me due to other costs so looking to buy one just for myself, but trying to find an older one in Dorset is like gold dust!
I just used a little 3.5 tonne lorry on Saturday cost me £100 for the day this is why I think owning one would be better lol, and I just think at the moment I just want to get in and drive for the summer rather than worry about having to take my trailer test and perhaps failing it! Plus the cost...
Be interested in this, as I am thinking of buying a 3.5 tonne lorry as don't think I can justify running a 4 x 4 for every day use, plus I would have to do my trailer test as I can't drive a trailer on my licence! But then trailers seem to be cheaper then a lorry and you don't have extra mot or...
Hi just want to see if anyone can help me! I am thinking of buying a 3.5 tonne horse box to use as a business and rent out for self drive hire. Does anyone know what insurance would cost I'm not sure if it would be worth it or not? Many thanks for any help!
My cob he is young aged 6 have only been able to exercise him once a week due to weather and family commitments, my daughter rode him out tonight and he bucked just walking down the road, which is just not like him, he likes to buck in canter but we are trying to sort this. He is fed just chaff...
How lovely to hear how much your daughter loved her childhood, I don't see it as buying a pony for a two year old I see it as extending our family he he decides he doesn't want to ride when he is older that's fine we will always have kids in our family so will be given loads of fuss and attention! X
Thank you all for your experience and advice on this breed I will be looking very closely at them as they come up for sale and also be looking at maybe a x breed or a Welsh. Many Thanks again!
I wasn't thinking of leaving my two year old alone with a pony! I have a 16hh cob which although my little boy loves riding I think is more dangerous him being around then a small pony. My horses are kept at home so financially it's fine, I see little kids dancing and starting hobbies at 2/3...
