It surprised me in the video that not more of them were wearing hi-vis - I (hope) that was just to make their product seem even more necessary, it is an advert after all.
My dad cycles a lot, on narrow dark country roads, and he does wear hi-vis - but if he has to cycle in the dark/almost dark...
Love all these, thank you guys!! Walk recommendations are great, keep 'em coming - we're both keen walkers (well, I like things on the gentler side, but with plenty of tea breaks I can be persuaded up most things!)
Thank you all so much! :D
Oh god, I can just imagine me doing this - maybe this trip isn't such a good idea, haha! :P
Thank you so much for all the suggestions - these sound great! I have a nice list of things to investigate :D
Thinking of heading to Dublin this summer with the boyfriend for a much-needed holiday - did a smidge of googling last night, but the result were mostly for restaurants, SO, anyone got good suggestions for things to do there? (Not horsey activities, really - he doesn't ride much, though his...

Yeah, the syllabus describes a grid and a course - it may have changed to that in recent years, as I think the riding sections of stage 1 and 2 have been altered a bit in recent years?
Poor you! Yes, my first horse wasn't too 'quiet' - but the people at the test centre were very good about recognising it and switching him for a different horse, so I didn't say anything on the feedback form (frankly I was happier to have him than the plodders I'd been stuck with the first time...
^ What Sukistokes said!! Improper saddle fit affects the use & development of the trapezoid(?) muscles (I think - some similar muscle anyway) and leads to what you describe.
Having just finished my dissertation - not in anything remotely equine, mind - I'll just offer a tidbit of generic advice! Try and make it something you're genuinely interested in, that you maybe have a stake in (is there an issue that's particularly affected you as an owner/rider?) or something...
I'm so sorry for your loss. All I can say is that I, and I'm sure everyone else horsey, understand how devastated you are.
I lost the first & only horse I've ever owned several years ago now, and all I can tell you is that time will make it easier to remember the good times, and that...
Any more news on this? I'd be nagging the vet to look into it more - our dog who succumbed to bone cancer in his hind leg had quite similar symptoms (and didn;' whine etc. when limping, silly trooper that he was), so personally I'd want it fully checked out as early as possible :/
I'd find that very plausible tbh! Her reasoning may be more along the lines of, mum rewards me when I do this, so it's good to do around mum, I'll do it when she's back here - rather than understanding that she wouldn't get a reward if you're away - does that make sense? (Did in my head, lol...
Thanks so much for all the responses! Lovely photos too, AlexHyde :) not looking to take it up myself really, maybe I'll try it one day if I get a chance - I was just curious really! Now I know! :D
