Thanks for all your responses. Thought I would provide an update. So I went to view the horses/yard last weekend - rode a beautiful (but huge 16.3hh) horse. He was absolutely lovely to ride in the school (forgiving yet I could tell he would help me progress/challenge me and boy he's strong)...
