I have been with them for years and have never had an issue. Have only made one claim with them and that was a few years ago and my mare had a few issues going on caused by a reaction she had and they were fab and paid out for everything with no problems at all.
My mare a few years ago developed swollen glands under her jaw. It turned out to be an allergy that was causing the swelling in the glands. We have subsequently moved areas and her glands have returned to normal and she hasnt had an allergy issue since.
My mare got kicked in the field a few years back and it developed proud flesh. The vet came and cut the proud flesh off. Once we got past the proud flesh we then used filtabac cream from the vet as it acts as a barrier cream. I have used filtabac cream on many wounds since I got it and it is...
My horse has had liver issues in the past but seems ok at the minute. When it flared up a few years ago my vet told me to feed speedibeet and micronized barley. Before the liver issue started she had an allergic reaction and is now allergic to the world. These beet and barley is about the...
I was away to brush my mare and I rubbed my hand down the inside of her legs to make sure she didnt have any lumps and bumps etc and the hair literally just fell out in my hand. It happened on all 4 legs but back legs are the worst. She has never done anything like this before. She is brushed...
I did my first hunter trial a couple years ago now class was 75cm. Fences when on board didnt look scary but as approached, which i felt were my bogey fences (the skinnies, never done one before) I pulled up into a trot. In the end I think she would have done them in canter no probs and once...
I have used a 505 with right hand ramp with my 15.2 mare. She does manage to get round ok but I have also used a Bateson with a left hand ramp with her. And I prefer the left hand ramp for offloading as its easier for the horse to turn. Not used a new ifor but think left hand ramp is better.
My tb who I have had for 3 years has been the best purchase I have made. I never went out looking for a Tb but I did buy her. She has in her first year of having her some health issues, but nothing compared to my WB that i had before her. Altho she is over the health issues now buy moving...
I wasn't really looking for a horse at the time, but my YO got some horses in to sell on behalf of the owner. She came out the lorry and I thought oh another chestnut tb. I was asked to ride her so they could see how she went and although she was a little nappy I absolutely fell in love with...
My mare did this a few years ago on the fence by rolling through it. The cuts went all the way down to her fetlock. I wasnt there when it happened and the yard cleaned it and smoothered it with cream and decided it didnt need the vet. I wasnt happy when I went up at night and saw it that night...
My mare has had raised lver enzymes a few years ago. She was put on a low protein and no oil diet. Due to complications with her having allergies to nearly everything the only thing we could feed her was speedibeet and micronised barley. This was fed as that was what my vet asked me to feed...
Yes I too go outside and do the horses in my pj's first thing in morning and last thing at night. Also do my colic checks in my pj's the couple times my mare had colic. Doesnt bother me but I do wonder what the police would think If i was ever invloved in a car accident when at last yard when...
My 2 have wintered out. The shetland has been naked all winter and the Tb has been naked during the day for a wk and a bit but has a rug on at night as the temp has dropped. Either been a lw or mw depending how much the temp has dropped.
