I agree with everyone else. You need to show a horse who's boss, and giving his a smack once in a while does this. I personally carry a whip with me when riding, but I tend not to use it unless I really have to cos if you whip to much sometimes the horse just ignores it
Not as shocking as some of the others, but i found it funny all the same :)
We have a woods next to our stables which people offen walk though. One day we saw some people and their dogs trying to climb over the fence so that they could walk though the paddock. Me and some friends calmly told...
Thanks for the advice :D The only problem is when I help out at the yard we usually leave our stuff in a room but i don't really want it to just be left out but i can't fit my protecter, boots, hat, whip etc into one bag??
CCT, i would really suggest that you get someone more experianced to watch you ride to check that you are not making mistakes. I may be embarassing to ask, but it will be worth it. Also, if you are lacking confidence, work on your ground work and build back up. :)
Hi, I have just got a new horses and I want to give her treats once in a while but I don't know what's best to give her. I was thinking sugar cubes or polo mints but I heard that sometimes they make horses nippy?
