The mare is insured with petplan so she is covered for foaling but they wont cover the foal until 30 days and dont really want to change her to another company as she is on an old policy they dont do anymore so good value and we wouldnt get it again if we stopped it.

Our first foal is due next week and we would like to get him insured but most companies only seem to do them from 30 days so just wondered if anyone knew if any companies would insure foals from birth to cover vets fees?

I have the FAL commander and that does have a completely separate liner and the outer bit is as far as I can tell exactly the same as my FAL viking but very slightly lighter so maybe the commander wouls suit you.
