We have a libra for our pony and i love it,my daughter finds it very comfy and secure and it's improved her riding no end,we have a barefoot pad underneath which provides spine clearance, it can slip a bit but i think a different girth will help that ☺
I didn't mean u specifically, we've used it for a 4yr old but just a musing really about it being safe for foals, sorry to hijack but I saw this thread and thought it would be silly to start a new one x
Are foals safe with electric fencing? As I saw on fb that a 2week old foal had got caught up in the fence and died :-( it got me wondering how many people use electric safely with foals especially
Yes that is the trouble, but I do like to make the best out of a bad situation and keep positive, if she can afford both and wants to and has a support network of friends and family and professionals then perhaps she could keep them and then sell the foal on eventually. But then I am too soft...
Thanks would love to :-) I'm heading there to clean in a bit lol might see u sometime. I was looking for livery a bit ago though we've got somewhere now. Is your usual field just up the road on the main road? It looks a nice place x
Happy birthday charlie! On a side note I've seen those horses before lol I clean for the people in the courtyard opposite! :-) lovely to see some horses back in there x
I used to work on a yard where the lady bred trakehners, they all had great temperaments, were quite sensitive and myself as a novice handler I could handle the 1,2,3 and 5 yr old,I loved them and found them quite easy :-)
We had the exact same thing happen to us last Monday lol got a little way up the road and it started raining very heavy etc so my daughter got off and we walked back.
