    Remember Slugs and snails do have a beneficial purpose, to eat and breakdown dead organic matter. Were else do we have large amounts of rich organic matter, livery yards!

    So pleased to see some one taking an enviromental view, slug pellets should only be used in a limited use and best placed under twigs and branches to limit other animals eating the pellets or the dieing slugs. beer works till my local fox finds he to likes this beverage

    Docks leaves

    Docks grow from root cuttings, or if you leave a bit in the ground it will re grow. SBK from the garden centre is the best way to remove docks grom grass.

    I have looked at depilox and am not sure if it will kill docks, these are vary difficult to eradicate and you may find this weedkiller will distort the plants but they will later grow out and survive. Yes it is a broadleafed weedkiller but will not kill all weeds. Use SBK for best results...

    Any good garden centre lawn weedkiller will kill this. it is about spraying it earlier than most weedkillers. Use SBK or verdone from the garden centre in April/may Go not dig it up as you will spread the small root globules around the paddock and each one grows.
