    Hard feed for stressy TB

Hiya, Just wondering what people would feed a stressy TB? She came to me on Ready Mash extra and whilst she was fine on it, she doesn't really need that much of a energy feed and I don't like feeds you have to soak (livery needs feeds prepared night before and I don't like to leave soaked...

    Towing with a Kia Sportage 2.0l petrol/diesel

Well this is the problem, I won't be doing it very often so will be hiring a trailer...I guess I have to work on 900kg or so for the trailer as a guide...

    Towing with a Kia Sportage 2.0l petrol/diesel

Not sure about shape..its a 2007 I'm looking at tho...I think the max towing weight of the sportage I'm looking at is 1600kg... I'll have a look on parkers at the 14 plate to see if that's different!

    Car for Towing question (sorry!)

Its a difficult one mudmonkey...I don't want to spend more than about £4.5K, but it can't be older than 2006/7 and has to be under 100,000 miles so I'm limited. As I'd be using it for an everyday car, I really don't want a gas guzzler either! The list above are all within the right...

    Car for Towing question (sorry!)

Hi, So I'm looking at getting a 4x4 which I would want to use for towing. However, as I won't be doing it very often, I'd probably just be hiring a trailer for day use, soooo I won't know the trailer weight until I've booked one :-/ So anyway, the cars I've been looking at are all 2006/07...

Strange behaviour from new(ish) mare...long, sorry!

35 years owning horses and I'd never thought of that lol (sorry, couldn't resist!)...she is absolutely covered in fly spray all the time!! But I've never found one that actually works particularly well.... however, time for a fly rug for the field at least

Strange behaviour from new(ish) mare...long, sorry!

Thanks for all the comments and opinions. Interestingly, I got to see her today thanks to a very good friend ferrying me about for the morning. As I was approaching her in the field I saw her kicking her stomach, then she did a bunny hop. When I got to her, she was covered in horse flies... When...

Strange behaviour from new(ish) mare...long, sorry!

Thanks to you all for your replies. Old owner is still quite upset and is sending me video's of her at previous shows tonight. She's always been fed on hifi so I'm not concerned about that...I'd be surprised if the ride and relax caused it...to be honest, if it was a feed issue, I'd expect...

Actually that makes sense. She was led from one side, but she has been since I got her (and also when I tried her out) and its not been a problem before...

We are not matchy matchy - OMG!!!

Oh god :-( lol I'm one of those that has always detested anything matching on my horses so I have no idea where this has come from! I'm a bit old for colour co-ordination now :-D

Strange behaviour from new(ish) mare...long, sorry!

There were no other horses (or people) near her...when she reared she actually span round at the same time to face the ground exit...she got up so high she got her front legs through her reins :-0
