    Bridle Ideas

Thank you for all the comments, really helpful. I know it's a large banding and expensive, most of my bridles will be around £300-400, with a rolled double bridle at the £600 mark. I would love to be able to go out and measure up myself, and have done in the past, but that all adds time away...

    Bridle Ideas

That's why I'm asking, as I'm not sure what people would pay, I know Fairfax are about £400 but have seen lots of comments about quality of leather, mine is Sedgwick, and is fully hand stitched. I'm offering the service postally so that I'm not restricted to a set region, so will make a...

    Bridle Ideas

I am using Sedgwick leather, no I wouldn't include reins. I have read all the research on bridle fitting, I have designed a shaped headpiece, and have designed a double articulation system on the noseband to get a better fit. I have based my price range on the Fairfax/PS of Sweden prices...

    Bridle Ideas

Hi Everyone! I could do with your help please. I'm about to start a M2M Bridle business, and I'm not sure what price banding people would be willing to pay for them, I know it's a piece of string question, and I don't want to be seen as advertising, so will have to keep it vague...

Area Festival 2nd rounds question and a bit of frustration!

Hi, I've just double checked, the update from BD about the second rounds, or finals, is that top 10 with over 62% prelim to elementary and top 5 with over 60% medium upwards qualify. I agree the information being published for the area festivals is very misleading, as they all say different...

    Ani-mate Tack Lockers?

I have one, for 3 saddles. It works fine, but the bridles get squashed against the saddles on the inside of the door, I now keep my bridles elsewhere. The hooks on the inside are good though

    Barefoot horse needing shoes?

My warmblood was wearing his feet too quickly on our stone drive, so getting footy. I've bought him some scoot boots, I lead him to and from the field in them a well as for hacking. They are really quick to put on and off, he knows to wait while I put them on in the field before he comes out too.

    Weekend plans!

Ooo I'm going to join in, I don't normally bother, but trying to stop being a lurker! I've got my first outing with my Warmblood tomorrow, 2 novice tests and Sunday I'm doing elementary bronze area festival at Arena UK with my traddy cob 😎

Help me enjoy my horse again...

I found myself in a very similar position last year, work was rubbish, the horses were a chore, and just couldn't be bothered, I was very close to selling up, then one morning found myself thinking some very dangerous thoughts. So headed to the doctor, I'm now on anti depressants, and had 8...

    Bedding Options?

Safemix is a wood chip (like laysoft) and shavings mix, it's really absorbent and dust free. It's made by Ardens

    Double bridle advice and rec's

Sol, you and I must have different types of fss bridle, I have the patent hunter double bridle, for my dressage sports cob, and it is definitely a single headpiece, it has 4 straps coming out of each side of the padding (1 pair on top of the other)
