    Vinyls and lacquer! ?

Hi all! I’m getting a vinyl made for the back of my horsebox and I want it to express that I cannot go very fast. Cars getting aggy behind me is so annoying ?. I can have any words cut and have seen some quite humorous ones but wondered what people think? For example, one says, “if you think...

    Advice box mis-sold?

Thank you everyone. This forum is truly a huge help. If anything to stop me feeling completely sick to my stomach that I threw ££££s in the bin. thank you. The place I’m having it done seems good though maybe a bit pricey. mill look about for welders - any tips appreciated on that. Thanks again xx

    Advice box mis-sold?

Hugely helpful. Thank you. Can I ask, if I take it elsewhere for the welding work, what type of place am I looking for?

    Advice box mis-sold?

I looked over it but of course can’t see under the wooden floor. I also don’t know what I’m looking for per se. It’s my first box. No receipt. Just paperwork and the company who fixed the box up before she bought it. Ahem. I honestly feel pretty distraught but hopefully it’s repairable.

    Advice box mis-sold?

Thank you. the underside had been sealed (which was a requirement of the MOT) so was hard to say. but the engine is ok. As I mentioned it’s the structure of the box itself that’s the issue. I honestly don’t understand how the hell it passed an MOT. I DESPAIR. Yes will speak to a solicitor I...

    Advice box mis-sold?

Well he said the exhaust needed work and pointed out it was tied up! To be fair to him. I was willing to replace it - I was expecting that work to have to be done and had budgeted for it. It’s more the huge amount of welding and damage the body of the box has. Surely it shouldn’t have passed an...

    Advice box mis-sold?

Hi everyone, I would appreciate your advice. I’m feeling very disappointed as I bought a 3.5 ton horsebox from someone in Cheltenham. I had it checked by mechanic up there (I wasn’t present) to make sure it was roadworthy and there was nothing wrong with it generally. He wasn’t a horsebox...

Anyone have experience with volunteering/lessons at Lee Valley or Mudchute? (aka moving to London, should I sell my car...)

Those yards are sweet but very limited (tiny arenas, not great hacking). im in London too and drive out to Bexley. Not far from Isle of Dogs. I ride at Mount Mascals which is great. Good hacking too. If you want any more info message me. They do have a helpers programme with rides for work but...

    Box on a budget

For flexibility. Deciding to go for a hack somewhere that morning. Or a beach ride. To do something most weekends... Just, to be able to get about without being beholden to someone. Also it's about £100 a day round here.

    Box on a budget

I knew that’s be picked up. It was a typo. It was 1200 but I couldn’t be arsed to edit it.

    Box on a budget

Just a note - I had found one, had a 1500 payload, was old but well-loved, and then I checked the ULEZ/LEZ implications - a fee of £300 a day! I may just have to come to terms with the fact I'm TOO BROKE to own a reasonable horsebox. My dreams of being an 80cm champion across North-West Kent...
