I was always sceptical about feeding a balancer but I tried the Topspec Senior for my two and they both look great! It also means can keep my feeds very small which I prefer to feeding huge buckets of feed. Obviously it won't build topline without correct work but I really rate it.
I think it's time for me to get a skull cap as I'm riding babies again and hoping to event next year.
So... I'm not sure what to go for. I've been wearing a charles owen gr8 which I love the fit of. I'm definitely going to go and get fitted properly but does anyone know which skull caps (if...
Literally nothing changed - measured it exactly the same way - didn't feed any more or less. Both are marketed as micronised Linseed. Weather has been cold but it was still cold when I took them off it. They have the same hay as everything else on the yard and the same as they've been having all...
Hi
I've been using the Charnwood Milling Micronised Linseed for years now but my normal feed store was closed over Christmas so I bought a bag of Marriage Linseed instead (didn't think it would really matter). Within a couple of weeks, both my horses poos had turned to liquid and my beds were...
I'm hoping to brave some hacking on my formally nappy horse this year but I think a body protector may be in order (just in case). I'm 5ft4, 32 inch chest and wear 22/24 inch jods and I've struggled to fit one that fits. I normally find they gape around my waist.
Any recommendations for one...
Thanks everyone, it was a bit of a struggle, we ended up prising it apart a bit and then using a monkey wrench to turn the bolt. It's the panel one annoyingly as the others you can always get a wrench round. Now I just need to get a new bolt :)
I agree with Batgirl. My old boy is widely considered a schoolmaster. My instructor likes to borrow him to teach people to 'get a horse in an outline' (for want of a better phrase). He's not easy but if you ask correctly, he's very wiling and that's more useful for teaching :) He is, as...
I've just bought a second hand saddle but I can't change the gullet as one of the bolts is completely rounded. Does anyone know the best way to get it out?
Thanks in advance
Thanks guys :) he's got steel grey legs but his body is flea bitten so i'm decidedly against white. I'll see if I can borrow a champagne type colour and see how it looks, if all else fails he can wear his normal navy one
I do agree, I'm a 'white breeches and pad with a plain navy jacket' person myself but we just fancied something a bit different as a white pad doesn't do much for him as a little grey pony :S
