I’m hoping he’s just strained it slightly in the field and it just needs a bit of TLC. I’m sort of reassuring myself that at least we are way better equipped now to deal with rehab/rest etc if needed, but hopefully that’s not going to be necessary, forewarned is forearmed and all that 🤦🏻‍♀️

Happy new year folks! Anyone have any exciting plans for this coming week? We are under a layer of snow & frost so nothing planned currently… will see when it lifts and go from there! We have got nice new lights in our stables though so that’s an exciting start to the year 😁

Christmas Bay Took the lads out today, usually we go individually so that Queen Bee isn’t left on her own, but since it’s a fairly short loop (about 40 mins) and she is fine in her stable while we both ride in the school, decided to chance leaving her for that short spell… let her with her...

Both lads hacked today, and plan to do same tomorrow. May even chance the two together - I have a likit now and the short loop is only 30 mins, so I hope that might be enough for Ratbag to wait for her boys to get back. She’s grand while we school together, so I’m hopeful. Merry Christmas folks 🎄
