Thanks - he has had months of inhand work etc so he is ready for the Equiami - obviously warm up first before using it - just wondered if anyone had any sucess stories and how long it took to see results etc etc xx
why? the hock is fine and vet give go ahead, he has had physio and his back isn't sore anymore so the lunging it to get him toned up and using himself properly??

My horse has had a really sore back caused from arthritic hock and a badly fitted saddle. Hock is now medicated couple months ago and the saddle now sold - so as he has a weak back and hanging belly the plan is to keep up inhand work overpoles etc and lunge twice a week in the equiami...
He had the injection about 4 weeks ago so he is out and about with a muzzle - i was just thinking about starting with a supplement to help going forwards :-)

My horse has had a steroid injection in his hock. My vet said i need to be careful with grass intake and feeds as there is a higher risk of laminitis.
I forgot to ask them if it was ok to give him a joint supplement that has glucosamine in with it being sugary
