New Yard With No Turnout Causing Problems with My TB

I am glad you have decided to leave. Even if you can't find a yard with all the facilities and turn out, find somewhere with grass livery and buy your horse a decent rug. She'll be absolutely fine, living out with company and you'll be mush more relaxed. If you don't believe me go onto Lucinda...

    British Dressage....

Ask this question on the BD forum. Diane Carpenter comes back with good rules based advise. I think you can get lower than 45 points if you take the horse for an assessment rather than just acepting the points offered.

working hunter - what size stirrups?

I ride in 4 3/4 inch stirrups and have only ever had one judge complain. He's got feet like canoes! On the serious side, it might be worth your groom bringing some 5" stirrups into the ride; as it will be dangerous for you to ride in such big stirrups, due to the potential for you getting dragged.

advice from people who show ponies please.

To be frank (sorry) he is quite long in the back but I think he could do well as a plaited SHP rather than as a M&M pony

    Stretcholt

TBH I am very surprised they are doing BSJA. The parking is quite tight, even for dressage. But the surfaces are excellent for both the indoor and outdoor arenas.

    speedibeet, how much to give?

I think that, as sugar beet is what is left after the sugar has been taken out for refining, it is really fibrous and not too high in energy. I think you could feed one scoop per feed up to 4 Kg (dry weight) per day. I assume you feed ad lib hay - could you change to haylage? Also, could you...

RTS -Sportline; where have they gone?

Thanks Guys. This is the reply I got. I don't feel confident to order from Germany again. I think I will go out and buy a pair of Pikeurs (probably Laguna's). "Hello, many thanks for your Mail. Our new company Summary Equisports don´t have your Order. The Summary Equisport Vertriebs GmbH...

RTS -Sportline; where have they gone?

I have been buying Bentex/RTS breeches from Sportline for years. On 11th October I ordered a new pair and Sportline told me they were on back order. Now I can't find the website and my Emails are bouncing back. They did send me a letter about some sort of merger, but as it was in German, I...
