How do I find out the engine size of my lorry?

Well, I only have the plating cert to look at for now and it is written DJN. but it isn't a 10 tonne lorry, so guess it may be written wrong. Thanks v much, 5.4 makes so much more sense! Going to check plate when I next visit the lorry. Thanks!!!!

    riding and pregnancy

Definitely personal choice I think... I intended to keep riding when I first found out I was pregnant. I even (stupidly) went hunting at about 6 weeks pregnant. Then I actually had a miscarriage at 9 weeks (fell off the day before, having not fallen for years). I know the miscarriage wasn't...

    Retirement Livery - Essex?

Does anyone know of any retirement livery places in Essex or near East London? It is for a 13yr old horse that is being retired due to permanent lameness (navicular). It's not my horse - but i was asked if I knew anywhere and I don't! The owner would like horse to live out I think. Thanks

Bark Bark Bark = Complaint from neighbour!

One way of training a dog not to bark is to have the 'bark' on command and the 'stop bark' on command. So you could do this by saying a word eg. 'speak' just as they start barking - then praising them for carrying on barking. Keep doing this until when you say the word - the dog barks...

Well - that is Cesar's favourite technique - is called an Alpha Roll: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alpha_roll I do agree with you tho - there are extreme cases where extreme measure need to be taken - otherwise the dog would be PTS. However - Cesar is a tv showman... and there are other...

[ QUOTE ] Maybe off topic, but I see plenty of people on here using slip leads, which have exactly the same action as a choke chain....in fact, they run through the ring faster than a choke chain. Gina, I wouldn't pay that either. OH, on the other hand....:p [/ QUOTE ] I have to use a slip...
