It's difficult to imagine an attack going on for that length of time. Those poor people. I wonder if they will get any compensation at all, I expect the dogs were fully insured. Not 🙄
Sadly long gone but a cav me and ex once had was a scream. If he and other dog were given a chew, he would take his and hide under the coffee table with it. He would then come out, go up to the French doors to the garden, bark like mad until other dog left his chew to see what the fuss was...
Nightmare!! I have a terrier, he measures roughly 15cm along his back. He has 2 very old hotterdog fleece rugs that fit and an amigo fleece rug, plus a quite thick fleece rug (a bit too small,) that I got off ebay donkeys years ago, and a couple of old weatherbeeta (again a bit small)...
I am squeamish 😁 I can't do feet of anything, stuff with hair on, gizzards, necks, pizzles or anything smelly. My terrier likes lamb skin plaits. These are quite expensive and I have found some lamb skin twists (I think it was B and M) which are just the right size for him.
Coffee wood...
For them yes, but not for any future events that could affect any of us with horses so I think PN has done a sterling job of outlining the steps needed to hopefully prevent any future large displays. I no longer have horses but well remember the stress and misery fireworks caused.
Oh yes, absolutely 😂 I am just terrified of most dogs much bigger than a JR. No reason, it's just gradually evolved over the years. And this was the sort of dog I would cross the road to avoid!
On a lighter note, I just saw one of my neighbour's girls who made a fuss of my dog. I asked how theirs was (a spaniel x terrier they got as a pup from a rescue who would be about 3 now) and she said fine. I asked if they walked her much (I never see them out with her) and she replied the dog...
So just now, fighting my way along a pavement that has obscured views with buddlia growing all over the place, I was suddenly confronted by a very large brindle mastiff cross I suppose, trotting along the pavement with a choke chain and no lead. It was accompanied by a man behind it on a bike...

I presume this should have been muzzled in public. Still in police kennels so I suppose they are running tests to determine type. Hopefully after it will be destroyed. Owner should have some form of punishment, and not just a fine he can...
What is it about these dogs? They seem to nip out the door and then attack something.
I hope the dog is destroyed and the owner has criminal proceedings brought against them as they have most certainly broken the law.
