Princess16, Hold the carrot just between his front legs so he just reaches down for it, and gradually move it further back as he gets used to not moving he will need to learn to stand with his front legs apart so he can get his head between them.
Hi, anyone had transphenoidal surgery? How soon did you start riding and generally looking after your horse again afterwards? Did you experience any problems?
Thank you FC for getting the photo into the thread, and for your comments..unfortunately I have no idea what his parentage is other than he came from Ireland . Would his dapples indicate anything?
Argh!!!! Give in, I can't get the pic to load from my album. And not keen on joining photobucket. I have made my album public if you have time to have a look, FC thanks

What about mine, please FC? Winter coat looks black, but has brown glints in his summer coat and his forelock fades to brown round the edges, has a few dapples, very faint on his body but one lovely star shaped one...
Autan has always worked well for me for keeping flies away, again don't breathe in! Use anthisan to soothe but have to apply more frequently than they say on the box, but it is effective for me.
Have just bought a silver grey saddlecloth which looks very smart, but have no pics of him wearing it, so just posted the naked pic instead lol he is IDX too
