Scatterbrain - yep I've done that and not even a flinch. I've flexed the limb and trotted him up and lunged him on a small circle and still as sound as a pound
My horse pulled a shoe off his off fore out hunting the other day and when he came home the inside of his fetlock had gone puffy. I checked all up his leg for anything and hibi scrubbed and cold hosed and bandaged that night. The next night I decided to leave the bandages off to see what...
I bought 2 rugs a couple of weeks ago from them and ordered them on the Wednesday and they were here by the Friday. I've previously had bad experiences with them but that did restore my faith in them!
Hi everyone,
Just wondering what you all thought of my Connemara pony and how far up the level he will show? He's 14h, straight moving with a lovely flicky trot. Any comments on him would be very grateful!
I have been given a 4 yr old to back and break with the hope that he is going to turn out nice enough for me to buy however he had a accident back at his owners yard which he now has a lump on his leg from. I was told that he was possibly kicked but owners are unsure as they had been away so...
I'm just wondering what everyone thinks of this wound? It happened on the 10th August and I've been told it was from a kick. I've had the horse for a week and when it when it happened at the owners yard nothing was done to it for a week, now I have it I've been putting 50:50 manuka honey and...
Could someone tell me the correct rider/horse attire for a concours d'elegance class including what type of boots I have to wear? I'm off to do my first show sideways and I don't want to look like a muppet!!
Thanks
Very jealous :P I'm learning the art of sidewaysness at the moment and Im loving it! I totally agree on the lightbulb moments and it really does help your normal riding a lot!
Hi everyone
I have adventured in to the world of sidewaysness and I'm now aiming to do my first show next month, however I'm totally lost on the toppers one bowler situation! When do you where which? I watched a class on Saturday and half the class was in toppers and the rest in bowlers...
Thanks for the replays everyone. I don't really want him any fatter coz of his poor little legs. His coat hasn't come through the best but he came up in heat lumps (he is very very sensitive!) and that has seemed to of messed up his summer coat as he had a fab winter one. I'm really struggling...
Hi everyone, a bit of help needed!
I'm showing my TB this year and I've been told by judges that he needs to be bigger!! I'm at a stage where I can't seem to put any wieght on to him and get him into 'show condition' so I'm wondering what you lot may suggest. Feed wise he's on a Stubbs scoop...
My sensitive TB came up in lumps the other week but we havnt got a clue what from! I gave him 3 homeopathic tablets twice a day of Sulphur and Apas Mal from Equss Health and the lumps were gone in 2 days!! I highly recomend them
I've just put my TB on fenugreek and Linseed from Equss health and the difference is amazing!! I think a 3kg bag is about £10, feed a handful twice a day and it lasts ages.
