My 18 month old has never worn a rug, but I often chuck my jumper or coat over the back to get used to something being there. I once left my jumper on her back and walked off to poo pick… It was only when she pulled it off and flung in her water bucket I remembered lol!
Kinda have a routine, generally same things get done in the same order each day, but timing can differ. My youngster has caused the least fuss out of the yard as from day one it has been this way. As long as she is fed she's happy :)
I competed as and when I could, having a horse to enjoy daily, for me is far greater than the need to compete. Can't beat a cold crisp early morning hack on your own!
With my youngster, I do hope to compete a little more but it will not be my main focus.

I'll always have thing for spotted ponies. However, my current one is (minimal) buckskin tobiano, and I now find myself wanting another buckskin or dun!
