I've been away for two weeks, and when I came home, i found that one of my shetlands has started cribbing ~
They're all 12+, never cribbed before, but suddenly one of them is gnawing the fence everywhere!
Not sure which one of them it is, as I say the lady who looked after them hasnt' noticed...
No, that's fine!
Only I got an email from Robinsons and as I've never even seen one, I thought I'd ask around!
But TBH, I'd prefer a Ifor Williams.
Not much point having one at moment, horsey broke herself this afternoon Bloody mare!
Whilst lunging BB today, she was going quite nicely ~ not as well as she can do, but okay ~ but when I was asking for left rein canter she was striking out with her inside/lead leg like it was extending, but the rest wasn't doing anything like it
It looked bit bizarre, and I've checked her...
I got one for my daughter who has juvenile arthritis ~ but it didn't do much....
... having said that, I broke & dislocated my little & ring finger 10 weeks ago, and have been in agony ~ so put bracelet on a week ago,
fingers feel great, so much so, I can type with all fingers again!
I need some help with schooling BB.
Need someone with decent leg length, to help her impulsion ~
She's a very safe, big girl, working well in school, just needs someone with a bit of oomph in the leg dept!
I'm based in Kent. PM me for details. Thanks

If I remember rightly, there's still some Olde Worlde law, that states that a public house has to provide water for a horse
... and that the landlord can't refuse a pregnant woman a drink!
We had our first First Aid for Riders course today!
It was brilliant. Everyone had so many "accident" stories, and the instructors made up scenarios of what you should do, and how to cope etc. From horse kicks, to rearing horses falling back on you, to falling off jumping. (Was hilarious seeing...
Wasn't it a beautiful day!
I didn't have time to go out, so just went in the school and then in the field ~ what a wonderful gallop we had ~ being chased by the Shitlands!
Keep up this Indian summer!
I've just read your original thread, and now this updated one... OMG, poor honey... and poor you.
Haven't got anything to add re: alternative medicine, so can only send healing vibes... to you both.
Can't imagine the shock and horror for you, keep your chin up hun, and hope you're both feeling...
