I certainly did not know this!! Thank you!
I will be honest, I actually offered to pay for it all up-front as I have it in my account now and will only spend it, if I didn't pay for it all in one go and then didn't want to get to it being delivered and me being short of a couple 100!
I don't have that amount available on my credit card I'm afraid :( No, I don't personally but I have gained independent opinions from people who have used the company and each person has been delighted with it, however, I haven't discussed payment with them and kind of feel awkward doing so with...
Ok, I am I likely to be being a big pansy about transferring 5k for our new surface to be delivered in 3 weeks time. Some one please tell me paying for it in advance by BACS is normal please?
There has been nothing to set alarm bells ringing, every person I have spoken to has been lovely and...
The TB's legs weren't clipped out and both wiped over with hot water and Detol afterwards. Never had an allergy to clipper oil before as never change the brand and was a a bottle I had used before. The rest of the clipped areas are not affected (TB has a hunter clip with slim saddle patch and...
Clipping had been suggested and although the pony is fully clipped out, the TB still has his legs on and still has lumps on them. Plus the chestnut mare who was clipped after these 2 hasn't a spot on her.
I am completely bamboozled by this one - As are the vets it would appear. Antibiotics seem...
I have actually just posted about odd lumps on 2 of our 5 horses. Very odd. Ours aren't hives as such but sore, scabby lumps extensively across the tummy and legs.
2 of our 5 horses have come out in sore, none itchy, scabby, pea sized, hard lumps. The smaller lumps are accompanied by a smattering of larger, softer lumps without heads. When the heads come off the smaller ones, the fluid is clear and greasy. The pony has extensive covering across all 4 legs...
After having my beautiful boy PTS on Thursday and the livery yard owners being absolute **** this last few days about my other horse we have decided to invest some money in my mothers yard and move our 5 horses there but it needs a school surface.
Been over today and after the torrential rain...
Hi everyone,
It's done... He went, just as I wanted him to, with a carrot in his mouth and kind words in his ears. When it came down to it, I was OK, husband wasn't needed and although it wasn't our 'usual guy', the gentleman was as fantastic as the normal guy is.
I am very sad about it...
I have just watched Supervet from last night and feeling much better about a quote he said (I don't agree with all the procedures he does but liked this one):
The greatest gift for you is the length of his life
The greatest gift for him is quality of life.
Thank you everyone for your kind...
I know I will feel better once it is done but it's this waiting time now. Husband is home this afternoon to 'deal with him', if I can't be around.
I have had a 5yr old done a few years back, who had lost his mind and had become dangerous in the field, let alone to ride and the relief once he...
Hi everyone,
Today is the day my big, beautiful, just 9yr old dressage horse is going to be PTS and my hand has been hovering over the phone for the last hour to cancel it.
I actually kind of don't know why I have come on here right now but I haven't actually got anywhere else to go without...
He can be turned away, although our ground gets wet during the winter and he can't be turned out with others. I think it may be a decision that has to happen before winter sets in now. A few weeks to go at least, depending on the weather.
Thanks all again for your kindness. I know what has to...
Yes, changes to the outline and commented on how large (Don't know the significance of this) it was as well as holes appearing. No, both front blocked at the same time and only one x-rayed on my request as to be honest, if he had it, he has it regardless, and money is rather tight at the moment...
