That's my worry, that it's going to put the brake on when turning the opposite way :/ I've got a longer cable to try but am not sure it's going to work!
I only got it yesterday but so far I love it to bits! It's quite an old model (2006) as I wanted to avoid the £500 a year tax! It's a replacement for a useless discovery so fingers crossed its more reliable than that was!
I bought it private & the previous owner had just been wrapping the...
I can't even pronounce it haha! Thanks for the reply. It does have the thread for the towing eye (which I have) in 2 places at the back but they are at either ends of the car which is quite far away from the tow bar! I thought there must be one somewhere near it but I can't find it. The only...
Does anyone tow with a VW Touareg with a detachable tow bar? I'm trying to find where to connect the breakaway cable to but can't find anywhere on it! There's a place for the tow hook to go but it's too far away from the tow bar so now I'm stumped! Thanks x
From what I can remember it's an old dairy farm that went under in the foot & mouth outbreak & they were given funding to change the use. we've been many times, most recently in August. The owners are elderly (runs it with their son) & tbh the whole place is looking very run down & tired.
Hi sorry to bump up this thread but it cropped up when I searched for something else & totally hit home!
You may already have answers but my mare was exactly the same!! Out of the blue just started napping for no reason (more so at shows) when previously would jump everything & anything! Had...
Depends on the light at ours. The whole yard come in together, so when it's the shortest days thats usually about 4pm, when they are nearly ready for staying out 24/7 it's about 8pm x
You're not over reacting at all! We have a girl on our yard who insists on treating everything. Mine will kick the crap out of the door if you treat her so I always know when she's given her something, despite the fact she always denies it (even when she's been seen!)
As it happens, mine has...
I don't ride, I tried to learn, didn't like it so gave it up! The daughter is off to uni next week & there was never a question that the horse wouldn't stay with me as I love looking after her! I'm still hoping D can get home at weekends so we can still go out jumping, but if not I've been...
Yea it is expensive (has just gone up from £40 pw) but that does include all straw, 1 massive haynet a day, unlimited use of new arena, trailer parking, all fields waters & fencing done, & someone on site 24/7 so I don't mind paying :) x
I didn't realise it was normal to still pay for your stable over the summer! Our livery is £50 pw diy/ £80 full when they're in but then everyone only pays £30 pw over the summer when they're out. They're all out over summer (unless 1 has to come in for medical reasons) & all in overnight In...
