I have a swb nissan terrano 51 plate 2.7 tdi, it is fine for towing my 16.3 and ifor 510 but is quite a light weight vehicle. Not sure there would be enough power there if you ever wanted to tow 2 horses.

Hi I use rubber matting, I couldn't live without it as my horse's stable always looks like he has had his mates round for a party! I put bedmax bedding in for him too, quite thick banks as he is prone to getting cast and some on the floor to lie on!
