Have just moved my horse to uni with me and giving her a bit of an MOT before she comes back into full work and gets her new saddle.
I'd like recommendations for a quality, talented, trustworthy and honest physio and chiro please. Based just 2 miles out of the city centre.
I would also recommend Fi Harter at Tidmarsh Stud. No indoor but my horse had been stabled there for over a year and would not have moved her was she not coming to uni with me!
ONLY JUST REALISED THIS WAS AN UPDATE! silly me!!!
My horse has been on grass livery since I bought her a year and a half ago. She is, or at least was in full work until a few weeks ago.
I visit every day, normally twice but sometimes just the once. She's on a routine as similar to a stabled...
yes and no. i love her dearly, but after a year and a half it's not exactly what i'd planned. i didn't realise i was buying a horse with so much trauma in her past. she's taught me a lot, but i've gone from competing at 1.20 to not at all. she'll jump now, and i'm so proud of that, but she'll...
Guys this is from a year ago, why has it been brought up again? This is why RR has a bad name for itself. Agreed though, there are a lot of children on there. But I wouldn't say the bitchiness was any worse than any other forum, it's purely because it's closed and private that when the bad...
the mare i used to ride taught me a lot!
what it was like to ride a proper horse, i thought i was quite good and even though i stuck on it kind of brought me back down to earth! she also i would say how to ride, she developed my seat, helped my leg position and also my hands. i went from just...
my personal preference is two in each foot. although at work top horses occasionally would have 3, dependent on height they were to be jumping and their personal way of going. last summer i think we only had one who had 3 behind. this probably isn't needed at just newc/fox level though.
i have...
i haven't had a lesson with him myself, but know of people who have and really rate him.
have also met him a few times through work and really respected his ideas and methods.
would definitely go for it!
i have an 18'' very lightweight john whitaker saddle for sale in burgundy
only issue is that it's currently a M/N but can be adjusted for £50ish
i found somewhere to do it but saddler does not think it will fit my horse even after being made wider.
