That's a good idea. At the moment he sits in a chair on one side of the living room while mum and puppy are on the big sofa on the other side. I'll encourage him to sit with mum instead and gradually try and give her some chicken bits. It's just sad to see as she's grown so much in confidence...
I don't pick her up. Occasionally if I'm out she will get picked up by one of those unwanted people on a walk. He's ignored the behaviour for six weeks and he's unable to walk her (old old old man ;) )
Hi I have a new puppy(I've had many before) she came from a friend of a friend who had her in a tiny room, was skinny, fleas, wormy, lots of rough characters in the house. Not a nice place.
I've had her six weeks, she loves me, loves my mum, tolerates my partner however HATES My stepdad. As...
I actually find my collie is more tuned into me while on horseback. It's almost like it becomes a job for her instead of just playtime. She will listen out for every command far more than she does if I'm walking. The moment we get to a road she knows straight away where she needs to be, anything...
All of them except tying up with reins. I never pick out feet. The only time my horses feet get picked out is when the farrier comes and even then it's him doing it! All feet still attached after ten years of horse ownership!
I tried to watch it but switched it off when they put the young bitch in the ring and tried to make her fight when all she wanted to do was play :( stating that she wasn't 'ready yet'
Revolting vile ass holes. Not even worthy of an appearance on Jeremy Kyle.
I live in the new forest where ticks are rife. I will find ticks on my dogs on a weekly basis. I've accidentally broken ticks many of times. Just keep an eye on it. The chances are slim, I'm sure it will be just fine. Not something I would rush to the vet over. Infact I think my forest vets...
Around two months ago I somehow ended up purchasing a pitiful looking sighthound for the grand sum of £60. She was very underweight. Took her to the vets first off and they were shocked at her lack of muscle. Only a year old or so but it was obvious she had just been locked away in a...
I think it sounds completely manageable! A week off for the first week would probably be sensible. I've known people leave puppies for hours each day and manage to somehow create a toilet trained dog so you will be laughing.
As for breed. It depends how much exercise you are giving before...
I'm ever so confused about my 11 month old whippet bitch.
A week ago today we were out walking with friends. There were six other male dogs on the walk along with my spayed collie bitch also so eight dogs in total.
They travelled in the truck together fine and the first 20 minutes of the...
