I'm hoping once I get to the point of jumping again the martingale will be long gone
I have a running martingale at the minute, I think it's unneccesary faff and intereferes with my contact. I just want a standing martingale there as a back up really until I get my pony back into work again -...
Can you even get them any more? I can't find any locally, I'm having to look online. Is there a reason they are becoming rarer other than running martingales seem to be more fashionable?
I've also seen online some jumping standing martingales, which have an elastic insert in which stretches...
Sorry for the obvious stupidity of me in making this post however if a pony has a wound that is quite large but not major (for example the size of a 50p piece) would there be a thickening of the skin whilst it was in the process of healing?
I cannot decide if it is the skin or a lump or abcess...
I bathed him last night and thought a spray all over would do, he is really slippery though so I won't be putting any more on where his saddle goes!
*Cue photos on Sunday night of my saddle still slipping *
I will go and get myself some show sheen I think Thank you!
OMG that's a bit rude! Anywhere I've been to they treat judges on a par with the pope.
Well maybe not the pope but they receive some nice hospitality anyway! I'd complain Hils, that's awful!
What is best for instant coat shine? I've got some Canter stuff and I'm not convinced he's shiny, just very slippery (perfect for my saddle to slide at the most inopportune moment!)
Anyone know of any good coat shines, or even anything home made which will make him look smart?
Thank you!

A troll avatar shall return when I find a nicer one
They were a childhood memory of mine, I'm too lazy to be a troll on here LOL!
I am in need of some new jumping poles, I don't want anything spectacular but some decent wooden poles would suffice. I did contemplate getting drainpipes but I know they will get smashed up in no time when they're left in the field with sheep, but how much do wooden poles cost rougly?
Thank you!
I feel for Zara, it must be gutting, and being Cumbrian obviously I'd love for Ruth Edge to be chosen for the Olympics, BUT...
we are all missing the bloody point. Surely if they are good enough to be olympic shortlisted then everyone should get some credit for their riding and their horses...
I have driven before, I've got a harness somewhere from many moons ago too, just a shame it will be too small, but I know what goes where etc. I do understand driving is ever so slightly risky but I'm sure it can't be any more dangerous than me driving around in my car
Obviously lots of...
