I have an ageing gelding by Welton Louis, who’s a full brother to Welton Romance. His bloodlines seem exceptional, but he’s done nothing exceptional with me, as I’m not an exceptional rider! But as he ages, I’m thinking his genes might be valued still by eventers, and it might be worth storing...

I’m done… Totally fed up with getting cooked from the head down when riding. Are there genuinely any riding hats out there that provide some decent air flow? Endurance ones?? TIA

The Cavaletti headplates are wider at the top than Bates/Fairfax etc, so they suit wider withers very well. I’m not talking angle of headplate - but the width through the top. The leather feels quite grippy to ride in, and the monoflap dressage makes riders feel secure in the seat. I’ve not seen...

Visually it’s not too bad, but farrier doesn’t think much of her. Vet however, thinks that as her parents were both sound and graded, genetically she should be ok.

I have a pigeon-toed mare bred from graded, sound parents. Vet thinks due to poor trimming as a foal. Is it unwise to consider breeding from her?
