Thanks guys! Yes tweed jacket, I already have several so that's fine. He was a 2015 foal so will only be a yearling, so filly slip is what he'd need? I think!
Hi all,
I'm planning on getting my haflinger yearling out to some shows this year! Will be my first time doing in hand showing (done plenty ridden) so I've no idea what to wear,
I would have thought dark trousers (as he's obviously light legs) show shirt, tie and navy hat, is that right...
I do think a haynet will be the best option but just so paranoid incase anything does happen, have always used haynets in the past so know how to tie them properly but was just hoping there would be some other solution to try first
Hi all,
I currently have a 6 month old foal on box rest and am having a hell of a time with wasted haylege! He's dragging it through his bed and using it as a toilet, I need to find a safe way to stop him doing this, in an ideal situation i'd introduce a haynet but with him being so young and...
Hi all,
I currently have a 6month old haflinger foal on box rest for 12 weeks due to a fractured cannon bone, we are only on day 5 and he is so bored.

Hi all,
Ok so last week my lovely new haflinger foal/yearling 6 months old was delivered, a week before he was due to arrive breeders told me he had an incident where he cut his leg, I was told that it was quite bad, it was a splint, at the time I was offered my money back or if I still...
Hi all,
My new cuddy arrives on Thursday I have a couple of questions I want some second advice on as its been a while since I worked with a yearling.
He's a haflinger, 7 months old, been gelded and weaned for about 2 weeks now. Currently living out 24/7 fed hay off the floor in the field...
Hi all, i need to find rubber matting for my lads stable again! He's had matting in the past that I eventually threw out because he was lifting them up or moving them every night (purely because of his size and weight) Our yo then put new matting down for everyone which he literally shredded in...
He's only 7 for those who asked, only reason I was so concerned was because he hadn't been drinking any more water than usual, nothing he's been fed has changed which was why I couldn't work it out! He has only just come back into work last week after 1 month off which someone mentioned could...
Evening all, I have a quick question for you. The last couple if days I've noticed my horse has been peeing a lot more than normal not sure if it's anything to worry about but thought a few second opinions wouldn't do any harm. He doesn't seem in any discomfort in anyway at all, still seems his...

Hi all, i am currently looking into getting cctv installed in my horses stable as a deterant to outsiders that may come onto yard and also for the liveries who insist on tampering with my stuff, feeding my horse and unbolting his door ect ect. Would also be great to see what my boy gets upto at...
