My big cob has had IRAP injections into his fetlocks almost 6 years ago.. He has arthiritis in his fetlocks the same as your horse.. he had steroid injections but they didnt work so we went for the IRAP treatment.. he then had eggbars on for a year and the in got him back into his normal shoes...
