Pony in question has good short back, lots of bone but is quite young - 5 yrs - a total saint and very laid back but primarily for a small novice 7 year old and am thinking occasionally it would beneficial for someone a bit more experienced (eg me) to hop on and do some schooling / traffic proofing / hacking out with pony just to give experience etc. What do you think? Would love to have a smaller good jockey but to no avail and am a bit fed up of naughty little ponies knowing that they can get away with stuff (not this little gypsy cob one but 2 previous welsh a's that I obv couldn't get on) so wondered if trying a different tactic ie bigger pony but more consistent schooling would work....
