Well Ive had to make adecision, as yesterday I was faced with going into A& E and was rushing round panicking to get her into a kennels.CT are aware luckily shes been registered with them since diagnosis. but obviously cant pluck asuitable home out of thin air.It may be too early as new meds may keep me going for a while but the worry about her is overwhelming my fear of not being with her.

PL unfortunately from Scotland there is no practical help I can offer. I'm so sorry for the situation you find yourself in. I hope your girl finds a new home soon to ease your load. Sending to best wishes

Im sweating on my Oncologise appointment. I have had private con with Splashgirl. The trouble at the moment is me possibly panicking too early but not wanting to panic about rehoming if I suddenly need to. Im tooworried about getting her walked, I wish she was more like my friends greyhounds who dont really care if they go out or not, they are mostly sleeping ! Im over invested in her because there is only her and me and Im too soft. Shes been out for an early walk on lead with walker and still mithering because shes usually going at 1 ish so she'll still be looking for that. Dont have a spaniel if you want a quiet life ! Dog walkers are like hens teeth here those that we have got are too busy to take on anymore.

I think there comes a point where making arrangements for a pet becomes paramount, even if it is possibly too early.

A client of ours rehomed her dog three years ago whilst still relatively well with her terminal cancer diagnosis. The perfect home simply appeared, and she felt it was too good an opportunity to pass over.

Dog is very happy in her new home, previous owner still alive, but content with her decision.
