PROUD MUMMY POST!

We took advantage of the sunshine yesterday morning to do some jumping:D

My daughter J 7yo has been growing in confidence through the winter- when able to ride- and has even been hunting and beginning understanding that speed is nothing to be frightened of- but carefully managed ;)

Ruby on paper is not a 1st pony but goes up and down the gears when required is a gem for my nervous 6yo T on the lunge and is very forward and occasionally 'testing' J which is working wonders and they are becoming a real team- its lovely to see.

As you can see Ruby was very excited to be getting airborne again and I think J coped with it really well. She was unhurt in the fall and was back on in 30 seconds.

Please no CC on the riding- she's only 7 and I'm very proud of her- most importantly both pony and rider are having fun!

(you might need to turn your volume down - loud Mummy! :o )

Absolutely brilliant! Love it.

Thoroughly understand your pride as a mother - my 3 yr old did her first sitting trot yesterday. Ok, so daddy was holding onto the back of her jumper to help her balance whilst i jogged around leading the pony but it was her first time up a gear. The big beaming face was brilliant. Once we'd started, she didn't want to stop and I must've run 'round the menage at least 10 times!:D:o

Excellent work! That looks like the kind of pony that will give hours of fun and teach your daughter a lot.

Very well done x

She'll reminisce about Ruby in years to come :D We still talk fondly about our very naughty little ponies! So cute.

lovely to watch, pony didn't catch her out a second time ;) :)

That's a pony who will teach her to sit up and kick on ;)

Tell her even my pony won't jump that high at the moment in canter :)

Nope just 1 ditching today! She'll learn to sit up and kick on!

Awww cute, what a cheeky little pony, they are the best lol

TBF she normally very good- its was funny to see her so naughty! :o

Why is it we look back on the ones with 'character' more fondly?! The best horses alway have a bit about them.

Thank you for the lovely comments! I have shown her and she's very proud of herself! :D

Aah, Ruby is fab, she is going to give your daughter lots of fun and confidence as she learns to keep her spirited little pony in check :)

Adorable! What a lovely pony

What a cheeky monkey, something tells me the pony has done that before!
