What have you got planned for 2013 with your horses? What are you hoping to achieve?

I would like to -

Really get cracking with my new horse, build a relationship, have lessons and start competing at the very lowest level.

Do a riding camp of some sort (missed out on PC so feel I need to experience some kind of camp!)

Hopefully feel brave enough to hunt her by the start of next season!

Teach my older TB that the lorry isn't going to eat him and be able to get him out and about doing farm rides, the odd fun ride and maybe even a few training shows/spot of stressage

Find a job for my Section A to do as I hate seeing her wasted in the field when she is such a fantastic ridden pony - Just a shame about her attitude on the ground :p

Would also like to scrape some money together to re-fence the field!

Sounds like you've got a lot to be cracking on with! I want to get my ex racer hacking confidently out alone everywhere and anywhere (work in progress ATM), take her to the local gallops, start having weekly lessons in spring, get out competing! :)

Hoping to:

Have a live and healthy foal out of Playmate;

Continue reschooling Big Ears, particularly working on her canter. Perhaps have a go at this jumping malarkey in the summer (if I man up a bit!); and

Lightly race Daisy in the top 2yo races in the summer.

To get the confidence to be happily jumping newcomers! My horse did it with his old owner and I will jump him over anything up to 1m10 at home, but at shows my confidence just falls, we are currently doing British Novice and are attempting our first Discovery this weekend  Also, maybe a new horse or pony wouldn't be a bad thing ;)

I'd like to back my ginger filly and start light work with her. It would also be great to have a proper season eventing my mare :). (Amongst which it would be fabulous if I could graduate with a half decent degree ;).)

Well to hopefully become stupid/brave enough to hunt Tank, because he gets a bit excited :p Then i want to event him again and try and move up to BE90's aswell :) i also want to improve his dressage to achieve 20s/30s every time out.
I want to start jumping on mums mare, and maybe event her a bit aswell :0
And i want to bring on new little pony for my younger sister, and get him hacking bravely and even jumping a bit :)
It's going to be a busy year :D

Harley, keep hacking him out, he's having fun doing this and enjoying himself a lot taking out my friend and keeping her on her toes!

Tinner, backing in the spring, he'll be going away for this, then the plan is to keep on riding him, he'll be four in June. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he's sane and sensible, and I'd love to get him to a few little shows too.

Peter, he'll be three in July, I'm looking to spend a lot of time with him in the spring, pony him off Harley around the village, introduce a bit, bridle, saddle, and anything else I can think of, then he'll go on the market about May time. He's a sweety, but I don't want four horses next winter and threrefore...

... Leo will also be for sale, he's only 18 months old now, the original Marmite horse - you either like spots or you don't! I think he'll be a stunner, I would LOVE to see him doing well under saddle someday.

Continue schooling & improving both my horse & my riding.
Get out & do some newcomer jumping on a regular basis
Enjoy hacking out more & insure twice a month we get to Beach or rent a xc course for couple of hours
Get out on the Show Circuit for the summer
Oh & enjoy myself more & ensure my Mare is having fun also!!

Lastly..... Buy a new project:rolleyes:

I hope my horse doesn't break at all this year but this is my horse we are talking about so..;) but my aim was/is too BE him but depends on my personal issues :o so if that doesn't happen i'll contrate long and hard on flatwork and working up levels in dressage

To get my confidence back! :( I have a cracking horse on loan, who is absolutely perfect & puts up with me being an utter spaz in the saddle. Have had many (professional) people - including his owner - tell me it's all in my head, and I know it is, but it's still tough at times to let go. I'm a work in progress. That, and do a couple low level dressage tests.

With my 5 year old spotty:
Try and qualify for novice restricted regionals. Really determined to do this and planning to start January. Even if we just scrape the points, it will be great experience for him (and me!)
Do our first elementary! And maybe qualify for areas and go.
I would also love to do more jumping with him and maybe do our first xc training but ATM I only have a dressage saddle which makes it difficult.

Dancer rising 20 tb:
Cement her simple changes.
Get her first BD point if I decide to affiliate her.
Improve our elementary scores.

Inka rising 4 year old connie x:
Get her going well under saddle
Start competing walk and trot tests successfully.
Do some prelims depending on how fast she progresses.

Soooo excited!!

Ask me Sunday ... picking my new mare up tomorrow. She is a handful so once settled im looking forward to schooling her (and myself) doing lots of hacking and bonding with her and building trust :)

Then straight on to the next Olympics thanks :D

got 3 OTTB mares who'll be getting into beginner novice eventing at the start of the year, with the aim of moving up the levels and selling two of them around September.

Parker (OTTB gelding) will be starting out at training level, maybe prelim depending on how December goes. Parker is up for sale, but I'm considering keeping him til the end of the summer, maybe longer if he's as good as I think he might be.

Stella (the odd one out of the bunch, not being an OTT, TbxPaint though :p) might do some pure dressage, but will be eventing at BN-Prelim, depending on how it all goes.

Willy should be back to his old self, and might get another season at 1/2*, to be honest I'd rather downgrade him sooner than necessary than risk hurting him :(

Other than that, got 2 OTTB geldings to sell, and connie to put on loan, with any luck - although we all know I'll just end up buying more!

I also have 20 regular training clients, plus working with my local pony club, and a passion for hunting, long may it all continue!

Get my mare jumping better so off to grid work lessons for us.

Back my 2 year old homebred filly, very excited because she is a poppet.

Get my little girl riding her pony. She wants to, it's me who needs to organise myself!

Join riding club
Do lots of sj competitions
Get flatwork semi reasonable!
Do a ODE
Maybe do the 3 day at MKEC
Stop panicking when jumping larger fences
Do lots of fitness work - ESP in jan/feb instead of being lazy like I was in dec!
Take them to the gallops x2 a month

Im planning on getting S started under saddle and at least basic schooling and hacking by autumn...hopefully with a couple of shows thrown in....then scrape some pennies together ;)

Want to start ground work properly with saffy too.

Win lottery. Sort fencing. Buy bombproof well mannered welsh A for daughter. Have lots of lessons on my mare who is a star, bless her...

Squander the rest on useless racehorses because they are there.

Was to start eventing my lad but hes out with injury so now its to hopefully get him sound enough to hack and perhaps get something else to compete on :)
