Other then the obvious ebay where would you look when trying to buy a 2nd hand race safe?

I keep missing them on ebay and tbh don't want to spend a fortune on one as the chances are it won't get used much!

Need a Medium adults if you come across one on you travels!!

I'd personally not buy a second hand BP (like I wouldn't a hat), cos you don't know how many falls they've been subject to. Look on ebay, they are MUCH cheaper on there, as TBM said.

I have just bought a BN body protector from Horse Golden, an ebay seller.. it is an imported product but is so similar to RS that I could hazard a guess and say they may come from the same factory!?! Between £45 - £55 too.
Just type in Body protector into the search and look for the black RS looking protectors with EXTRA protection in the header - they are buy it now too if that helps.
The communication from the seller is great and they are happy to exchange or refund too - just have to allow for the english :)
They arrived the next day too :D

Just another note - we bought a Adult's medium and small to start with for myself (size 12 top) and friend (size 8-10), both were too big, so I now have a perfectly fitting Adult's XS and my friend the Child's XL :D

Yes I have been looking for an adult medium RS BP and also saw the Horse Golden lookalikes but they dont appear to have any safety levels/testing labels on them which put me off, if you are just hacking or hunting and are not bothered I suppose it doesnt matter but I think you have to have proper safety tested kit for most RC or comps, correct me if Im wrong

I'm fairly sure they don't conform to BETA Level 3 (or any BETA standard) so entirely pointless if you want to compete at any level or use at any decent riding school.

Please, please don't buy 'safety products' without checking they are 'safety approved'

Showing their PLC certificate is completely meaningless although obviously meant to imply they are somehow approved.

They came with Beta Level 3 labels attached to the protectors, apparently the next batch will have the labels stitched into the material... but the prices are likely to go up too!

Have a look on Jumping For Fun. Some p2p jock who's giving up might have one advertised on there. You can also pick them up on done deal from lads who have had one or two rides and have then realised race riding isn't for them and are selling all their gear.

I have to say I'm very concerned by that company and have been in touch with BETA regarding them :(
