70 loose horses in Carmarthenshire

The owner isnt going to come forward as he/she would be prosecuted for no passports
at the very least, plus all the damage they have caused ! Would perhaps be members of "the travelling community"??

Probably one of the many dealers in the area, with the price rock bottom for selling horses & the price of hay/haylage so high i expect they've been just been dumped knowing that someone will have to take them in. Hope they manage to round them up before they cause any accidents or end up injure themselves.

Do they expect them to carry their passports with them? ;)

Also, the road closed signs - did the police expect the horses to obey them and not venture beyond them onto open roads?

A meeting? How about some actions? Its unbelieveable!

Alot of people know who the owner is...even i know who it is , well his name, he`s a thug and a bully and you would be without knee caps, house, family if you reported him.... and he`s not a gypsy..... has lots and lots of ££££, picks up ponies from the sales, breeds them, sells foals, cycle then starts again

Oh if only we were still allowed to shoot people

Happens all the time in Lincolnshire. Not 70 all at once but its not unusual for me to spend my shifts at work rounding traveller horses up and securing fencing. Not a great use of my time but better than dead horses or them causing accidents. RSPCA wont be interested, every where is full at mo, had this conversation with our local RSPCA inspector just the other day. Sadly they will probably end being destroyed
