Well it's taken me 8 months to finally get back in the saddle and back around horses :D

I lost my boy last August and decided to take sometime out from horses. I have a tendency to make 'rash' decisions when my heads a wreck and I feared I'd go straight back out there and buy another then regret it.

So the past week all I could think about was riding!! And I knew it was time :) so I booked myself in for a nice hour long hack and it was lovely. Rode a nice little cob mare and had a good canter across the fields in the sunshine.

I'm booked back in for next week again which I can't wait.

But now I want to be 'more involved', though buying another and loaning isn't an option due to work. Any ideas? I'd love to find something to ride 2 days per week in West Lancashire area.

Small steps I keep telling myself :)

Sorry not from your area but just wanted to say sorry for your loss and lovely to hear you are back in the saddle

Nice post! Good to hear you are back in the saddle!

You will have to find a share, I reckon. You might find it more difficult if you must have weekend days, but if you can do a couple of weekdays there is bound to be someone who'd appreciate your help. Advertise in local tack shops etc?

Good luck (I'm too far away to be of any use, really!) :D
