pointless thread but it crossed my mind ,it's gorgeous out there so why are there a fare few browsing hho , me because i did the nags this morn , been to tescos, done some laundry and taking 5 before going back out ..... why are you here ?

Hacked this morning and just spent the last 2 hours doing my version of gardening. Now sat in the garden enjoying my handiwork and looking at hho on my phone so still enjoying lovely day! :)

Went for a good road hack this morning, then fell over in the yard hurt my thumb:rolleyes: and scragged my elbow down a breeze block wall!

I have brought the tack home for a good clean and I'm hopeing I'll be able to do it now?:(

Did the horses all this morning
Been to the theatre for saturday lunchtime drinks
Friend now having a kip before we go back and do horses then off to see a play tonight :)

Been out to horses this morning, haven't been well today so stayed close to home, should have been tackling garden but have been doing stuff in the house instead going back up to yard soon, I've had the computer on but have been away from it for quite a few hours, so it often looks like I am online when I am not if that makes sense

I'm at work :(
We organised an open day for the tack shop with lots of good offers and sale stuff etc.
Been dead all day as everyone is out enjoying the sunshine :(

I'm at home with a cold (how ironic  ) but did the ponies, went to feed shop and pets at home this morning now going to collapse into bed I think :(

I'm in bed ill... again! i had a nasty bug in the week, then my little ones had it,then my niece, then my parents, then OH.... now its back to me again (which i wouldnt be too fussed but i am the worse who has had it worse off 1st time than the others!)
been to the yard earlier, threw 2 ponies out, somehow managed to muck out 2 boxes, fed the other 3, glanced at mine in the field to see they had 4 legs each still!
Am back down in a bit to finish off - the bad thing about mine i only i can do them really as i have a stallion, and some foals with stroppy dams etc so it's me or me who has to do them :-( i hope i can rope OH in to empting the wheelbarrows though and maybe a few haynets and waters.

Been riding first thing, then did 20km on the bike, been to tescos. Now I'm cooking spinach and feta pies and some cookies to go over to friends this evening and to take to Somerford tomorrow, just waiting for the little beauties to cook ;)

Mucked out, turned out, fed 20 + horses back in and changed by 8am. Been into Norwich, renewed various licenses. Back home, made a rabbit cage, thought I might like some breakfast, and it's only 10.50am now.

OK if I sit down and have a coffee and a browse? :)

When I go back out I have a fence to mend, some escapee rabbits to catch, everything to do for tonight then I'm out by 4 to drive up to Cambridge to a concert this evening.

I am often on here - because it is still winter, we've had howling gales, rain and snow in the last 3 days, when it's -14C at lunchtime I don't hang around outside for fun.

It's not that beautiful here - it's cloudy and quite windy. Saw to horses this am, went to stock up on their feeds and other shopping. Had a a hack and made up haynets and now having a coffee! Sorry to hear some of you are ill - hope you get better soon.

Because it's blowing a gale here!

When we were out in the yard, we had to shout to make ourselves heard when we were only 2ft apart. No school, road hacking before we can get to any off-road, just not safe.

Have done the fencing on the front lawn so that pony can have some grass and give paddock a rest.

Fully mucked out his stable, and letting it dry out.

So taking 5 before I make his bed and put him in it :)

did the horses earlier, was hanging around while my field was harrowed. Came home for lunch :p

I harrowed the field after lunch - I love my little MF tractor. :p

I'm glad to say that the youngster was very good, it's the first time that I've not moved the hosrses into a different paddock (since I got him) while I used the tractor. He just copied the older girls and stayed at the hay feeder. :D It's a good job that he didn't copy the grey who started off by following me up and down, up and down etc... then she just played chicken and I actually had to steer around her.

OK - I'm the chicken.

Both daughters went out on horses this morning. Just been for a nice lunch, home to loads of painkillers (who'd have thought a broken pelvis could be sooooo painful:() and HH to keep my mind occupied!

I'm sick :(
xXx
Get better soon;)
Been at stables till 1. kids rode practicing gymkhana- found I can still vault on:D
Kids lunch sorted
Went to farm store to buy diatom
Diatomed the chickens for red mite and disinfected coop
Left the men post & rail fencing
Phew cup of t and quick HHO
Back to stables shortly

I am horseless, but went for a walk in the woods with my brother and mum just now. LOADS of livery yards near me so saw a fair few people out for a hack and felt very jealous! My lesson is tomorrow morning, so will have to hold my horses (ha) until then.

Although its not that lovely here now, it has come over cloudy!

x

I'm in the car, DH is driving, I'm on my phone. HHO is more interesting than listening to the radio or talking to DH :p

Well I have literally just sat down and logged on.
Went down the yard just before 9am, took the coblet for a walk in hand with the saddle and bridle on, went very well. Then I did a load of poo picking and chores and chatted.
Then I came home and made me and OH a Tuna salad lunch for lunch, then we went shopping, then for a bike ride to feed the ducks our left over bread. Then home to plant up my vegetable seeds, I have done 2 types of tomato, radishes, peppers, courgettes and butternut squash. I also re-potted some of the flowers as they were growing out of their seedling trays already, so I am pleased with that. We are going to walk round to the small tesco shortly as we forgot milk  oh and beer :D Then we will be watching a film after dinner :D
