plus the coat is going to grow back oddly. Poor pony
google brings up a thread that was done about Vikki King, but was removed?
For those saying the clip was done with trimmers without the guards on, this is a clip after such a set up (Liveryman Element):

And Liveryman Harmony on the fine setting:

So scalped yes, but not nicked, un-even or just generally attacked!
I understand that a vet sedated so vet fees on top? It's more than just the money or even the appalling clip - the poor owner must be so upset - I would be (and I'm a touch over 16!). I would feel so badly let down trusting a professional and letting that happen. She has to see her pony daily and it must be just so upsetting. The worst part of this is the money IMO. The pony will get over it and obviously it's not nice and will be sore for a day or so but as someone else has said, £50 is a lot of money for a 16 year old, especially at this time of year.
Hmmm, one that has been left on the side of the sink for 3 months and gone a bit rusty...Perhaps it WAS a bic razor??![]()

From the professional's FB "My clipping service is going really well having done a variety of clips on different types of horses from tb's to shire x."
My personal view amongst over 100 others is that you do not use her clipping service! Lady has been left clipper burnt, bald in areas, sore and unsightly. A refund has been refused unless all posts are removed showing these photos and no apology has been issued.
Her defence is that lady was dangerous, attempting to double barrel you. While lady was swinging her bum round on the 1st attempt, we decided to abandon that day's clipping and wait to get lady sedated and checked out by a mctimoney. lady was treated and the clip that had been done so far was of a more than acceptable standard. lady was then sedated - twice - by a vet to insure she would stand still and not attempt anything at all so she could be clipped safely. lady barely moved and the clipwork - well you can see for yourself.
I've also been asked several times why I didn't stop her long before she finished or at least refuse to pay. I am 16 years old, and was alone toward the end of the clip (the vet and everyone else from the stables had left by then) and I did not wish to engage in a heated discussion with a middle aged woman on my own.
In response to the people asking why I was on my own - I was with a trusted professional with a seemingly good reputation. it was important to lady's health that she got clipped as she was suffering from chronic feather mites which needed treatment.
I've also been ridiculed by the fact the photo's show lady eating hay which a sedated horse shouldn't do as they can choke. these are photo's taken tonight, about 24 hours after the clip. lady wasn't fed for several hours after clipping so don't panic haha.
Finally, thankyou all for understanding, you are welcome to share the photos or re upload them. This post is aimed merely to showcase the work by this "professional" and to hopefully save a few more horses from having this happen to them.
Legal action is being taken against the guilty party.
Thankyou all for reading.
Poor pony, why hasnt the lady done solid sweeps using the clippers?! looks like shes done about 4 inches then stopped,t hen another 4 inches and then stopped again! Perhaps they could neaten it up abit? If not let the pony have christmas off, rug it up so its not freezing and let it grow back, poor ponyIve seen some bad clipping jobs, but this is by far the worst! The lady whos done it should be summensed.
Erm, it's a bad clip. It's going to grow out...............
