George and I went to Norton Heath today for a dressage competition, next step in our recent confidence building work. I was a bit nervous for the walk and trot test but we did it and came 5th out of about 15

Then we had a bash at the prelim, strangely I was a bit calmer although worried about cantering in the arena but we did our best. There were I think 18 in the class and ............WE WON!!!

I have dreamt about coming 1st in a competition for as long as I've been riding but i never have, I am so thrilled with George, obviously watching the olympic dressage this afternoon helped

Well Done!! That is fabulous!!

Dressage and I dont go well together.......my husband says I drive in straight lines round corners......well I do the same on a horse too!!!
 
Congratulations! You deserve it, And lets hope, its two of many rosettes to be one.

a huge well done from Che and me, doesn't George look pleased with himself. You must be so proud, he is the most handsome boy and you look really wonderful together. Hope it's the first of many!!

Aww congrats! Looks like some good consistant marking.

I drove past NH on my way to the yard at about 5pm as my usual route had a road closure - nearly popped in to watch a bit!
 
Well done to both of you!

I always get so nervous in dressage i forget my test, and in jumping i forget the course hehe.

Nerves even get to the pro's tho, a couple of olympians had the bell rang when they forgot their tests
