About midday today I was leading my horse and slipped on a sod of grass. I fell toward horse and as far as I know (there was somebody else there) he moved away his backend only but to regrain his balance he took a step back with his front feet and trod on my head. No, I didn't have a hat on but then when you're just pottering about the yard, I personally don't think to wear one every second of the day. I was aware he'd stood on me but it definitely wasn't his full weight, more of when you've started to stand on a snail and it's kinda too late to lift your foot up but not, if you see what I mean? I was more focused on the fact he stayed where he was and didn't panic and start pegging it around the yard as he's only young!!
He's caught me on left side on the cheek bone about level with my eye but closer to my ear. I have a two inch graze and a lump that is really noticable.
I'm sure some of you are going to yell at me for asking if I go to A&E? I've not had any dizziness, don't feel drowsy and haven't been nauseous.
Would you still go to A&E just to be sure? Don't yell at me, i'm just asking because I feel fine and don't want to waste anybodies time with a lump and graze! They'll probably think i've been hit with a baseball bat rather than stood on by a horse!!
