Hi
Im after a fine cob size flash bridle in black but dont know where to get one. What make do a fine flash bridle? Any suggestions would be great x

Do you mean a cob size for a cob or for a finer type?
I don't know where to find one but be aware that anything fine on a cob is quite likely to look a bit silly, they need a wider bridle to look right. Finer bridles are better on ponies and TB types.

Ive got a pony but shes between a pony and cob so need something fine. Bought a jeffries and the headpiece is too small and the bit where its cut back for the ears doesnt fit and cant get a matching headpiece. So will sell it and buy a new bridle x

Sabre Elegance bridles are quite fine. I had a John Whitaker bridle before, which was quite narrow leatherwork, and nice leather too (although certainly not Sabre quality of course!)

The good thing about Jeffries though, is that you can buy all the parts separately. I know that it works out more expensive, but it's worth it when you have an animal that never fits off the peg things (I have one, so I do understand).

Is this the headpiece you need to replace?

Size charts (so helpful).

Hi faracat its similar ive bought the wembley pro bridle and they dont sell the parts individually for the wembley pro so really struggled. Dont know if my cheek pieces would fit onto that one or not.
Thanks milliepops the sabre have a nice bridle im going to consider getting x

they are really helpful on the phone, I've had 2 put together of random sized parts at no extra cost:)

Always had Jeffries tack before but can't fault Sabre really.

I have a black Amerigo Vespucci flash bridle, which looks nice on a finer head and the leather is really lovely. Mine is normally a Full size but it's quite big-think I'd have got away with a Cob size for him.

Hi, I got my 16'1 with stupidly small head (tbx type) a Shires Avignon comfort bridle as anything too chunky looks silly on him. Could be worth a try, I got mine from Barnstormers and they were happy to exchange the size too.
