A further tragic loss :'(

Some will have seen my post on Monday about my friend who lost her gelding Monday evening after a field accident. He was galloping around with his best horsey friend when he slipped and broke his leg. Tragically, today the horsey friend was found dead in the field after being struck by lightening.
I am just so shocked and saddened by it all. RIP lads and thoughts and hugs to all involved. Xx

Its very upsetting and cannot begin to imagine how the owners feel. specially the owner who found her horse dead in the field. my other friend is grateful she at least got to say goodbye. Ill be leaving work early to spend time with my pony tomorrow. He's getting hugs whether he likes it or not.

Oh that is awful! I am so sorry. What a tragic coincidence! My heart goes out to both owners. I hope they can take a small crumb of comfort in that their horses are together again, but I do so feel for them both. My sympathies to all, including you.
