A youngster i recently bought who was very poor and underweight got ringworm about 3 weeks after getting him and has passed it on to the other 5 horses at my yard. Its not a huge deal as its my sister, my mum and a friends horses and they will not leave the ward until they are all clear, i got the treatment from the vet and my youngster is now clear, however the other horses are still being treated. As they all have it and no other horses will be coming to our yard do i need to de infect everything? stables, brushes etc? and once they are all clear of it could it be caught again?
